WALNUT, CA — Mt. San Antonio College's Wildlife Sanctuary received a much-needed facelift and expansion, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported.

The Walnut college's Wildlife Sanctuary increased in size from 10 acres to 25 acres and will get a new front entrance constructed, the paper reported. Non-native plants and weeds were also removed from the area and replaced with native coastal sage plants.

A new entrance for the sanctuary is expected to be constructed sometime in April.
