Take A Hike In Diamond Bar This Labor Day Weekend

The city is holding the hike as part of its Healthy Diamond Bar initiative to encourage an active lifestyle among residents.

DIAMOND BAR, CA — City officials want Diamond Bar residents to lace up their hiking boots this Labor Day weekend and go out on a hike as part of an initiative encouraging residents to live a healthier and active lifestyle.

The city’s Healthy Diamond Bar program will host a trail hike Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Grand View Trailhead. The hike is free to attend and open to all ages and hiking abilities, organizers said.

There will be two hiking groups, one departing from the trailhead at 9:15 a.m. and the other at 9:45 a.m. Free snacks and drinking water will be available to hikers.

Hikers will meet at the gazebo in the Diamond Bar Center’s overflow parking lot before departing for the hike. The center is located at 1600 Grand Ave.

Residents are encouraged to register for the hike online, using activity number 5901.
