Top 40s Band Headlines Diamond Bar National Night Out

The funk group Cold Duck will headline Diamond Bar's National Night Out Celebration at Sycamore Canyon Park Wednesday.

Diamond Bar will join in celebrating National Night Wednesday in conjunction with a weekly concert and movie at .

The National Night Out event, which is put on by the National Association of Town Watch and co-sponsored by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, will have law enforcement officials on hand to give tips on drug and crime prevention. 

Wednesday's band will be the 70s group Cold Duck, which City Manager Jim DeStefano has been one of the most popular bands in the summer series in past years.

Last night, the city of Walnut hosted their National Night Out and concert in the park alongside deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Walnut/Diamond Bar station.

The music will start at 6:30 p.m. and the movie Tangled will be shown starting at 8:30 p.m.
