Attention Dixon's 65+: The Senior Resource Fair is Next Weekend!

The 12th annual Dixon Senior Resource Fair, sponsored by the Advocates for Dixon Seniors, is sure to be a success with a growing list of vendors on board.

The free event is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 from 10AM - 1PM at the Dixon Senior Multi-Use Center, 201 South 5th Street, Dixon, CA 95620.  Save the date on your calendars!

A variety of organizations, businesses and agencies will provide free information, health checks, hearing checks and freebies to attendees.  A variety of refreshments are provided by each of the fair’s vendors, to be enjoyed by everyone.  Many also provide free raffles to enter.

There may still room for more vendors, depending on space available. Dixon Family Services is the lead organization and those interested are encouraged to contact Cookie or Rich at DFS, 678-0442 as soon as possible.

At noon the Senior Citizens, nominated by community members as Outstanding Seniors will be recognized. 

The Advocates encourage everyone to think about a senior relative, friend, or neighbor that could benefit from the day of information, fun, food, and entertainment and invite them to join you at the Senior Multi-Use Center onSaturday, October 19.  It will be an excellent opportunity to learn about local resources and to socialize.
