Attention Highway 12 Commuters: Rio Vista Bridge Work This Week, Expect Delays
Highway 12 at the Rio Vista Bridge will be reduced to one-lane beginning Tuesday.

Caltrans plans to conduct inspections this week on Rio Vista Bridge between Solano and Sacramento counties, officials said.
Traffic on state Highway 12 and Rio Vista Bridge, which spans the Sacramento River, will be reduced to one-way traffic starting on Tuesday between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., according to Caltrans.
Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to continue during the same hours on
Wednesday finish on Thursday afternoon, according to Caltrans.
Inspections will not disrupt boat and ship traffic on the Sacramento River.
