Business News: Heritage Commons Senior Housing to Open Soon

Patch will periodically tell readers about businesses that are opening and closing in Dixon.

Dixon residents over age 55 will soon have a new housing option.

Heritage Commons, an affordable senior housing community, will open in late spring at the corner of South First Street and Valley Glen Drive in Dixon.

The location was formerly home to the old Bloom Farmhouse, Patch reported. The farmhouse was demolished May 2012 to make room for the senior housing development.
