Sig-Alert Lifted Following Deadly I-80 Crash
A semi hit a pedestrian running across the freeway.
VACAVILLE, CA — The California Highway Patrol reports that a pedestrian was struck and killed by a semi truck on westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Vacaville at around 5 a.m. Tuesday. For a time, all lanes were closed causing traffic to back up for miles.

The semi driver pulled over and is cooperating with investigators.
