Driver Killed In I-80 Crash Identified As West Sacramento Man

SOLANO COUNTY, CA — The Solano County coroner's office has identified a man who died
after a collision near Cordelia on Saturday night as Juan Torrentes Cruz, 42, of West Sacramento.

Cruz was killed when his 2015 Ford Mustang collided with a 2015 Audi A6 around 10:55 p.m. on westbound Interstate Highway 80 near the connector from northbound Interstate Highway 680 in unincorporated Solano County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Cruz died at the scene and the Audi driver complained of pain after the collision, CHP Officer David Harvey said Tuesday.
