Erwin, who blogs for the Patch, has long been involved in Dixon politics from the other side of the dais, as has his fellow potential candidates.

According to the City of Dixon, Erwin pulled his papers today, the official Nomination Period ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012. If the incumbents do not pull papers by then, the nomination period is extended to Aug. 15, at 5 p.m.
