Police Respond to Mountain Lion Sighting in Dixon Neighborhood

It could have been a big cat. A fat one even. But some neighbors reported to the Dixon Police Department that they witnessed a mountain lion in the area of Mariposa Drive.

The Dixon officers went to the area and checked several homes, however did not find the mountain lion.

1155    Abandoned vehicle in 1000 block Orchard Drive. A blue 1989 Chevy Caprice was towed and stored.

1225    Follow up at 300 block W. Walnut Street resulted in the arrest of Phillip Castillo (27) of Dixon for Outstanding Warrants, Failure to Appear Domestic Violence, and FTA Vehicle Theft. Castillo booked at Solano County Jail.
