DUBLIN, CA — The Alameda County Fire Department is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony Friday for the new Alameda County Fire Training Center.

The training facility at a 3.2-acre parcel along 5053 Gleason Drive in Dublin will host an approximately 8,000 square-foot classroom building, an approximately 576-square-foot utility yard, and an approximately 5,500-square-foot five-story training tower with Class-A burn rooms, according to an ACFD news release.

Construction will start in April, and is expected to be complete by 2026.
