Community Invited To View Iron Horse Trail Bridge Installation

The public is invited to watch a crane hoist the 230-foot-long bridge over Dublin Boulevard Sunday morning.

DUBLIN, CA — The Iron Horse Trail Bridge installation will begin Saturday at 11 p.m., and will take approximately 24 hours to complete. A crane will hoist, fly and set the Iron Horse Trail across Dublin Boulevard around sunrise Sunday morning. The public is invited to watch the installation from the parking of Don Biddle Community Park on Sterling Street throughout Sunday.

Dublin Boulevard will be closed from Dougherty Road to Hacienda Drive from Saturday at 11 pm through Sunday at 11 pm.

The $14 million, 230-foot long, 20-feet high free-span bridge aims to create a safe crossing over Dublin Boulevard for pedestrians and cyclists hiking the Iron Horse Trail. Construction began in April 2022. See here to learn more.
