COMMUTER ALERT: BART Delays of Up to 20 Minutes Reported Due to Equipment Problem
The issue had been resolved, but residual delays remain systemwide.
BART riders have experienced delays of up to 20 minutes this morning because of an equipment problem on the tracks in downtown Oakland. BART officials initially reported the problem at 4:38 a.m.
About 20 minutes later, they said the issue had been resolved, but residual delays remain systemwide as of shortly before 5:45 a.m.
