Dublin Coach Tom Costello Named TV30's Coach Of The Year
Seven Dublin athletes were also named as Outstanding Student Athletes during a Monday ceremony.
DUBLIN, CA - Dublin High School Boys Basketball coach Tom Costello was awarded TV30’s 2022 Outstanding Coach Award at a ceremony Monday.
Costello has coached basketball at Dublin High School since 2006. Since then, his teams have won 20 or more games seven times, and won numerous league titles. Earlier this year, Costello won his 300th game at Dublin High School.
Seven athletes from Dublin High School were also awarded Outstanding Student Athletes at the ceremony, which included Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez, Pleasanton Mayor Karla Brown and Livermore Mayor Bob Woerner; and Superintendents Chris Funk, David Haglund and Kelly Bowers.

Thirty-five athletes from Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton also received personalized commendations from Rep. Eric Swalwell. Viewers can watch the awards on Comcast Channel 30 or AT&T U-Verse via Channel 99. It is also available on-demand at tri-valleytv.org.
