Dublin Schools Shelter In Place
The school went under a brief shelter in place due to a report of an altercation involving a weapon, according to the school.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin High School went under a brief shelter-in-place Monday afternoon due to reports of a possible altercation in the parking lot that could have involved a weapon, according to an email sent by DHS Principal Maureen Byrne.
At around 1:05 p.m., Dublin Police Services received an anonymous call alleging an altercation with a weapon, Byrne told school families. Police advised conducting a shelter in place at DHS, Emerald High School, Wells Middle School, and Valley High School out of an abundance of caution.
Police reviewed campus videos, searched the campus, and tracked the phone, and said they found no evidence to substantiate the claim. The shelter in place was lifted at 1:35 p.m., Byrne said.
