Dublin Historical Society To Host Mayors Panel At Board Dinner
The group includes mayors from the last 40 years.

DUBLIN, CA — Aligned with the City of Dublin’s 40th anniversary, the Dublin Historical Society will host a Mayors Panel at its Installation Dinner on June 30.
The newly launched moto of the society, “The Past Starts Now,” will be celebrated and the city's history recreated through former mayors:
- Guy Houston
- Janet Lockhart
- Tim Sbranti
- David Haubert
- Melissa Hernandez (present mayor)
“Nowadays, it’s so easy to get disconnected from our communities and focus only on our future,” society member Roger Lee told Patch. “Understanding the rich history of Dublin connects us back to how and why this city was formed, and what better way to do it than through the eyes of our five previous mayors”

The event is the first of its kind.
“DHS organizers understood how rare it is to be able to get five city mayors in a room at the same time,” the society said. “The conversation could get interesting as each shares their unique approach to leading the city that sits at the crossroads to the Tri-Valley.”
