DUBLIN, CA — Dublin is the fastest growing city in California, which means constant change. To give residents a sense of the city in the 1950s, the Dublin Historical Society is hosting a panel at the Dublin Library called "Step Back in Time With The People Who Lived It," moderated by "Cruising Down Memory Lane" author Donna Kamp McMillion, whose family herded cattle near Dougherty Road.

Panel attendees include:

  • Lynn Moller Skarratt, who grew up on Foothill Road when it was a part of Dublin, and attended the Murray School, now part of the Heritage Center.
  • Tim Koopmann, who family has ranched in the area for six generations, and lived in a house where Shannon Park is today.
  • Tony Fisher, whose father opened Fisher's Drive Inn, a popular hangout for Amador High School Students.
