Sahni died at the scene and the woman and child were taken to hospitals following the crash that involved a vehicle and a parked big-rig, according to police.

A preliminary investigation shows that Sahni was driving north on Frontage Road when he veered into a big-rig parked in the center median. Police said they don't know whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
