Dublin Students Can Ride LAVTA Buses Free Starting Aug. 8

Students across the Tri-Valley will receive unlimited free bus rides until Labor Day to encourage ridership throughout the year.

DUBLIN, CA — Middle and high school students in the Tri-Valley can enjoy unlimited free bus rides aboard LAVTA buses from Monday, Aug. 8 until Sept. 5 as part of the “Try Transit to School” promotion.

The promotion from the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority aims to demonstrate that riding the bus can be just as quick and efficient - and sometimes more so - than driving cars.

To take advantage, students can simply board a Wheels or Rapid bus and ride. No ticket or pass is required.
