Fallon Sports Park Phase III Ribbon Cutting Scheduled

Dublin will celebrate the opening of the final phase of the park

DUBLIN, CA — Fresh off celebrating the opening of Don Biddle Community Park, Dublin will soon welcome the final additions of a 60-acre sports park.

On Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. on 4605 Lockhart Street, the city will mark the completion of Phase III of Fallon Sports Park, a large sports park containing lighted basketball courts, playgrounds, a BMX court, public art, bocce ball courts, picnic areas and tables, a playground, soccer fields, tennis courts, and much more.

The final 14 acres contain a large cricket field with five cricket pitches, two Little League baseball fields, five multi-use batting cages, four sand volleyball courts, a playground, and restrooms.

The Oct. 22 opening ceremony will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony and park dedication, as well as “first ball” celebrations on the cricket fields, baseball diamonds, and volleyball courts. There will also be sports demonstrations, games, giveaways, a community photo, and more.

The opening is free and open to the public.
