Grocery Outlet To Open In Former Dublin Big Lots Store

The discount supermarket chain will try its hand again in Dublin after a previous store closed.

DUBLIN, CA — Discount supermarket chain Grocery Outlet is opening a location in Dublin in the former Big Lots location at 7991 Amador Valley Boulevard, the city announced.

The Emeryville-based chain is known for its low prices on overstock and closeout products from private-label groceries. It offers a full range of foods, as well as produce, meat, beer, wine, and health and beauty products.

Until recently, there was a location nearby at Dublin Place at 7590 Amador Valley Boulevard, but that has closed. There are currently locations on Bernal Avenue in Pleasanton and Railroad Avenue in Livermore.
