The deadline to sponsor a banner in the city has been extended.
DUBLIN, CA — The deadline to sponsor a banner in Dublin honoring a local veteran or service member has been extended to April 10.
The banners will hang on Doughtery Road from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.
Each includes a photo with name and rank, branch and if they are active duty or a veteran.

The cost for sponsoring is $200 and payment is required after the application is approved. Financial assistance is available for those who are in need.
