Mega Mart Korean Supermarket To Open In Dublin

FREMONT, CA — Mega Mart, a Korean market offering groceries, food service, and more, will open soon at the former Dublin location of Lucky’s Supermarkets, the city announced.

The Seoul-based chain opened its first East Bay location in Fremont in September 2022. The Dublin location will only be the chain’s fourth in the United States, in addition to locations in Sunnyvale and Atlanta, Georgia. Patch has reached out to Mega Mart for more information on the upcoming location.

H Mart, another popular Korean market, is also opening in Dublin at an unspecified date. The store will be located at 7884 Dublin Boulevard, across I-580 from the Stoneridge Shopping Center. The 27,237-square-foot location, which once housed Orchard Supply Hardware, will feature a mega food hall and outdoor dining, according to a KRON4 report. Both H Mart and the city of Dublin have only said that the store will open “soon,” as of May.
