DUBLIN, CA — As many as 60,000 people descended on Dublin over the weekend for its famed St. Patrick's Day celebrations, which included a parade, carnival, food, music, dance, and over 260 vendor booths.

Dublin's own Kyle Elias, 22, won the 2025 Dublin Shamrock 5K Run in just 16 minutes 29 seconds, according to records. Ishaan Jain, another 22-year-old from Dublin, won 4th place with a time of 18:33.

“The City of Dublin’s annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities are the highlight of our year, as we honor our city’s Irish heritage,” city spokesperson Shari Jackman told Patch. “We had a wonderful time hosting visitors from all over, especially guests from our Sister City of Bray, Ireland. Over 50,000 revelers joined us for the weekends’ events, which included the Shamrock Gala, the Alameda County Firefighters' Pancake Breakfast, the lively Rotary Club Parade, the Shamrock 5K Fun Run, and the two-day festival, which included Irish music and dance across three stages, a carnival, a marketplace, and the introduction of Celtic Highland games.”
