The award-winning chain opened its newest location at 7281 Amador Plaza Road.

DUBLIN, CA — Take another little pizza my heart now, Dublin! Pizza My Heart, a popular Bay Area chain with locations in San Ramon, Oakland, and all over Silicon Valley, has opened a location in Dublin.

Its newest location opened recently at 7281 Amador Plaza Road, the former location of Mexican restaurant Gorditos. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The first Pizza My Heart was founded in 1981 in Capitola Beach, where it still exists in the same beachside location. It opened up a location in downtown Santa Cruz, and soon spread through the Bay Area. It remains a family-owned business that focuses on hand-tossed pizza and fresh, local ingredients. Its long, award-winning menu boasts vegan, vegetarian, and specialty meat pizzas. Guests can also build their own pizza with a long list of toppings, which include everything from apples to chile peppers to vegan pepperoni. Guests can also enjoy salads, chicken wings, and desserts like an oversized chocolate chip cookie or the “Cinna-bomb”, pizza dough baked with cinnamon and other spices.
