Series Of Earthquakes Rattle Bay Area
Three similarly-sized quakes struck different parts of the Bay Area at around the same time, according to USGS.
DUBLIN, CA — Three small earthquakes struck the greater Bay Area Tuesday morning at midnight, according to the US Geological Survey.

The largest quake was a 3.3 magnitude quake centered 25 kilometers west of Los Banos, about 80 miles southeast of San Jose. It was felt only moderately if at all across the Bay Area according to USGS's Did You Feel It? user-submitted feature.

The second largest was a 2.9 quake centered 5 kilometers east-northeast of Fairview, near the Dublin Hills Regional Open Space Preserve. Many more people reported feeling this quake lightly across the East Bay and on the Peninsula.
The smallest was a 2.6 centered about halfway between the other two, 16 kilometers north northeast of Morgan Hill. No users reported feeling this quake.
