DUBLIN, CA — A car collided with a big rig truck Tuesday afternoon near the 580/680 exchange, according to the California Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.

The collision between a big rig carrying an empty white trailer and a silver Volkswagen Jetta occurred at 2:57 p.m. in the eastbound lane of 580, near the 680 connector ramp, according to CHP. Maps on 511.com show traffic backed up on the eastbound lane of 580 for a while on both sides of 680. A resident told Patch she saw two helicopters nearby.
