DUBLIN, CA — A temporary traffic light is installed at the northwest corner of Amador Valley Boulevard and San Ramon Road after a car crashed into the former pole Wednesday morning, taking down the traffic light.

The crash took out the signal pole with a mast arm, causing the west side of the intersection to be closed to eastbound traffic.

No incidents have occurred at the intersection since Wednesday, according to Dublin spokesperson Shari Jackman, but drivers are advised to proceed through the intersection with caution. It will likely take some time before a permanent traffic light with a mast arm is reinstalled.
