TRI-VALLEY — It’s a busy festive weekend throughout the Tri-Valley. So busy in fact that we decided to offer a compact guide to all the different events taking place this weekend, including parking and street closures. If you’d like to travel all around the Tri-Valley in a one-horse open sleigh, here’s your guide:
FRIDAY, DEC. 5
- Holiday Village in the Park: 4-8 p.m., Carnegie Park, Livermore
- Magical Holiday Evening: 4-7 p.m., 333 Division Street, Pleasanton
SATURDAY, DEC. 6

- Bah Humbug! 5K Walk and Run: 8:15 a.m., San Ramon Community Center. (Road closures.)
- Breakfast with Santa: 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m., Shannon Community Center, Dublin
- Holiday Sights & Sounds Parade and Tree Lighting: 6 p.m., downtown Livermore. (Road closures.)
- Holidays in the Vineyards, (Saturday and Sunday), 12-4:30 p.m., Livermore Valley Wine Country
- Santa on the Fire Truck: 4:30-6 p.m., Athans Down Park to San Ramon City Center, followed by pictures. (See here for route.)
- Hometown Holiday Celebration: 5 p.m., Pleasanton Main Street. (Road closures)
