Tri-Valley To Host Yamaguchi's Holiday Ice Rink: When To Visit, Get Tickets

Visit the grand opening event next month. Some proceeds go to equipping kids from low-income families with books.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — Grab your skates, Tri-Valley! The Kristi Yamaguchi Holiday Rink is coming to City Center Bishop Ranch soon.

The ice rink will be open from noon to 9:30 p.m. daily, Nov. 17 to Jan. 2. at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Camino Ramon. Family skate is held weekdays from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Some proceeds will benefit acclaimed figure skater Yamaguchi's Always Dream nonprofit, which helps provide books to kids from low-income families.

Swing by the grand opening ceremony Nov. 17 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for a ribbon-cutting, figure skating performance and singing from Sophia Percora.

City Center recommends people book tickets for a 90-minute session online, as same-day tickets purchased at the ice rink are subject to availability.

Costs are as follows and include ice skate rentals.

  • General admission: $19
  • Kids ages 3 to 5: $8
  • Early bird special before 4 p.m. weekdays: $2 off
  • Bishop Ranch tenants: $15

The rink may close for heavy rain, holidays, or private parties.
