Volunteer Tutors Local Students: Danville Hero

DANVILLE, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Rimma Reznikov, who nominated friend Aaron Sheyman of Danville.

Hero's job: Volunteer

Reason for recognition: Aaron has spent his quarantine helping students achieve their educational goals for free. In these challenging circumstances, many students have found themselves falling behind. However, Aaron has decided to devote his time towards tutoring local students

One thing to know: Aaron is a kind kid who enjoys practicing gymnastics and working with people.
