West Dublin Power Outage Impacts 2.3K Customers

A power outage impacted more than 2,000 customers Friday in west Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA—Over 2,000 PG&E customers in Dublin lost power Friday due to an unplanned outage, according to the utility.

PG&E said the outage was first reported at 12:20 p.m. and 2,285 were still impacted an hour later. Officials were investigating the cause of the outage and estimated power would be fully resorted by 9:15 p.m.

An alert sent by the city asked drivers to use caution at intersections where traffic lights were impacted and to check with PG&E for updates.

"There is currently a power outage in West Dublin," the alert said. "Traffic lights may be inoperable. Please proceed with caution when driving on city streets. PG&E is working to get power restored as soon as possible."
