LAPD officers responded to call revolving around a family dispute in Eagle Rock around noon on Saturday and placed one person the police described as mentally ill on a 72-hour hold.
An LAPD “smart team” consisting of a police officer and a psychologist was dispatched to the 5100 block of Eagle Rock Boulevard, between Colorado Boulevard and Hill Drive, where “one family member has a mental illness,” Sgt.
