Man Exposes Himself to Student at LA City College

A man exposed himself to a female student at LA City College this week, according to a sheriff's bulletin.

The 51-year-old woman was sitting in her car in a college parking lot at the corner of Melrose Ave and Vermont Avenue on Monday when the man approached and exposed himself. She attempted to take a photo or video of him with her cell phone but he quickly fled.

"The suspect took a few steps away from her vehicle, zipped up his pants and stood by for a few seconds before walking away and out of view towards Vermont Avenue," the bulletin states.

The woman told friends about the incident but did not report it to authorities, according to the bulletin.

Sheriff's deputies heard about the incident through a campus source and interviewed the woman on Friday. She was unable to provide a detailed description of the suspect.
