Senor Fish Sopes It Up at Union Station Food & Wine Event
Echo Park's newest Mexican restaurant took part in "East L.A. Meets Napa" fundraiser at Downtown's Union Station Friday.
The newest branch of the illustrious Mexican restaurant opened quietly in Echo Park this spring.
It was just a few weeks ago that a sign even appeared above the building at the former Pescado Mojado on Sunset Boulevard.

We caught up with Martinez Friday night at East LA Meets Napa 2012.
Organized by healthcare provider AltaMed, the event showcases fine Mexican cuisine and Latino-owned vineyards.
Eric Garcetti, Luis Lopez and Arturo Chavez were three of the local politicians we saw in the crowd.
Martinez encouraged us to stop by the Senor Fish booth, where pork sopes were center stage.

Delicious!
Senor Fish was in fine company with Sunland's Rocio's, Whittier's Bizarra Capital and Hollywood's Loteria Grill just a few of the many.
AltaMed has also just published a new book In Their Own Words, highlighting Southern California restaurant families and chefs.
