Woman Suspected In Los Feliz Hit & Run Surrenders
A 36-year-old woman suspected injuring a pedestrian and fleeing the scene surrendered after anonymous tips allegedly identified her.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A 36-year-old woman suspected of leaving the scene of a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured in Los Feliz last month surrendered to authorities after a warrant was issued for her arrest, police reported Wednesday.
Anonymous tips following media accounts of the May 19 crash led investigators to identify the suspect as Amber L. Yeron of Los Angeles, Los Angeles police said.
The victim was struck by a dark blue Honda Accord while crossing Hollywood Boulevard just east of Vermont Avenue about 11:25 p.m.

"The driver fled the scene without rendering aid and identifying herself," according to an LAPD statement.
Details about when and where Yeron surrendered were not immediately available, nor was her custody status.
