[Found] Lost Dog in El Cerrito: Black German Shepherd

Update, Nov. 6: the lost dog Pearl was found by a person who saw an ad on Craigslist.

Anyone who sees a black German Shepherd with white paws and stomach wandering around El Cerrito or nearby is asked to contact El Cerrito resident Betty Walker at 510-525-7860 or walker.betty@comcast.net.

Walker said the dog, who is newly adopted and named Pearl, slipped out of her collar about 7:30 a.m. this morning, Sunday. Pearl was last seen at Lynn and Ashbury avenues.

"She is skittish and probably won’t come if called," Walker said. "If you see her or are able to catch her, could you please let me know."

Pearl weighs about 50 pounds, Walker said. Her photo is attached.
