California Autism Foundation Unveils State-of-the-Art Expansion at Grand-Opening Event

The October 6 event will showcase their new, state-of-the-art sensory rooms and classrooms and highlight the program's family services.

RICHMOND, CA – California Autism Foundation (CAF), the leading provider of full life services to people with autism and other developmental disabilities in California, has just announced their School Expansion Grand-Opening Event on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4:30 to 7 pm.

The event will begin with a short presentation and tour of the new, state-of-the-art Sensory Room and Classrooms by CAF Leadership, along with; Caribbean style food, light refreshments, a live DJ and fun games for families and guest to participate.

''Our new school expansion will allow us to serve more students diagnosed with autism in needs of our services. The new building will include a brand new speech therapy room, an art therapy classroom, a kitchen, staff lounge, office spaces, additional classroom and a stunning new sensory room dedicated to occupational therapy and sensory integration,'' says Director of Special Education and Trainings, Edith Molinier, PhD.

“I'm so excited to showcase the upgrades to our facility as part of our expansion,” says Valisha Fullard, Executive Director. “We’ve been investing more into our programs to bridge the gap on the needs of our clients and I can’t thank Edith Molinier enough for all of her efforts.”
