El Cerrito High School Assault Suspect Arrested
Liliana Gonzalez-Lopez, 20 of Richmond, turned herself in Monday and was subsequently charged with assault, police said.
EL CERRITO, CA — A suspect has been arrested in connection with an assault at El Cerrito High School earlier this year, authorities said.
Liliana Gonzalez-Lopez, 20 of Richmond, turned herself in at the El Cerrito Police Department Monday and was subsequently charged with assault, according to police.
An additional suspect was identified as an El Cerrito High School student, but a police news release didn’t indicate whether the student is facing legal consequences.

The April 19 assault occurred in an ECHS bathroom and involved two victims, police said.
One of the victims was punched and kicked several times in the head dragged around the bathroom by her hair amongst a crowd of onlookers, police said.
