The Gauchos are now 2-2 while Campolindo improved to 4-0. The Cougars held the lead throughout most of the game on their home field. They were up 14-7 at the end of the first quarter and 28-21 at halftime. They built up a 35-21 lead at the end of three quarters. El Cerrito closed the gap to 35-27 midway through the fourth quarter, but Campolindo scored a final touchdown to put the game away.
