
SAN PABLO, CA — A man died when an Amtrak train hit him Saturday morning in San Pablo, Amtrak and Union Pacific spokespersons said.
The man was struck at about 8 a.m. by Train No. 11, the Coast Starlight, Amtrak spokeswoman Christina Leeds said. None of the 266 passengers onboard were injured. The train was underway again about three hours after the collision.
