New International Market Offers Taste of Himalayas in El Cerrito

EL CERRITO, CA- Attention local foodies, El Cerrito recently welcomed a new international market, a Nepalese-owned Himalayan Grocery store, according to East Bay Express.

East Bay Express reported that the new culinary wonderland is tucked away at 10340 San Pablo Avenue, where four friends have endeavoured together.

The grocery store reportedly opened this past Sunday and is catering to the culturally diverse community with foods from Himalayan areas including Nepalese, Tibetan, Indian, and Bhutanese.

Although East Bay Express says they aren’t planning to carry meat of produce at this time, adventurous chefs and ethnic cooks will be able to find snacks, frozen foods, spices, and dried goods.
