• Kensington Police Launches Blue Envelope Program to Support Inclusive, Neurodiversity-Aware Policing (contracosta.news) — El Cerrito residents who interact with the Kensington Police Department can now request a free “Blue Envelope” from the San Pablo Avenue station to ease traffic stops for neurodivergent drivers. The voluntary program lets participants store key documents and communication preferences in a bright envelope, signaling officers to use extra patience and clear instructions during stops and other contacts.
