Armed Robbery Attempted in Elk Grove
Would-be bank robbers came away empty-handed Wednesday.
Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery in Elk Grove that ended with nothing being stolen.
The Elk Grove Police Department announced on Twitter it was looking into a robbery at the Wells Fargo, 5120 Laguna Blvd.
Two men entered the bank and were armed with weapons, but nothing was taken, police say.
