Community Will Hold Prayer Vigil for Shooting Victim
Surinder Singh, 65, was killed while out for an evening walk on E. Stockton Blvd.
The Sikh Temple Sacramento has organized an interfaith prayer vigil to be held Friday for Surinder Singh, the elderly man shot to death March 4 while out walking with a friend on E. Stockton Blvd.
The event will take place at 6 p.m. at the intersection of E. Stockton Blvd and Geneva Point Drive, near where Singh was killed in what some suspect was a hate crime.
A separate funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the North Sacramento Funeral Home, 725 El Camino Ave. in Sacramento.
