Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint of Cash, Lotto Tickets
Police responded to the Whitelock Parkway store but were unable to find the suspects.

An Elk Grove convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Thursday, with two unknown suspects making off with cash, lottery tickets and other merchandise, police say.
The robbery was reported just before 8 p.m. at Food Stop, 5650 Whitelock Parkway. Police say two suspects entered the store and brandished handguns at two employees, ordering one to the floor while another filled several shopping bags with merchandise, money and lottery tickets.
The men fled on foot and were not found, the Elk Grove Police Department reported.

[The first suspect] was described as a black male, about 18 to 22 years old, 5-foot-10-inches tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded jacket with a bandana on his face and was armed with a handgun. [The second suspect] was described as a black male, about 18 to 22 years old, slightly taller and thinner than [the first suspect]. [The second suspect] was wearing a black hooded jacket with a bandana on his face and was armed with a handgun.Â
