Remember the 85-foot-tall "fake tree" cellphone tower the Elk Grove Planning Commission considered a couple weeks ago? It's back on the commission's agenda this week, as the group will consider requiring AT&T to protect the 65-foot-tall or higher trees on the Sheldon Road property to hide the antenna from view. The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 8400 Laguna Palms Way.
