These suspects allegedly tried to rob an Elk Grove bank, but fled before getting any money.

Police have released photos of the two suspects who allegedly demanded money from Elk Grove bank employees Wednesday afternoon, but fled before getting anything.

Around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, the two suspects entered the Wells Fargo at 5120 Laguna Blvd., propped open the door with the handle of a scooter, and grabbed employees to demand cash, police say.

"Before the employees were able to comply with the demands, both suspects fled on foot and were last seen running into a residential neighborhood," the Elk Grove Police Department said in a press release. "The suspects were not able to obtain any money from the bank."
