Police Release Image of Strikes Assault Suspect

Elk Grove police released a security camera image Friday of the man they say is responsible for a Sunday night attack on 26-year-old Sacramento resident Seth Parker in the parking lot of .

The unidentified man sucker-punched Parker in the face after taunting him with homophobic epithets, according to police, causing several facial fractures. have called the assault a hate crime.

Police described the man they are looking for as Latino, about 20 years old and five-foot-eight. Camera footage shows him wearing a black T-shirt and jeans on the day of the assault. They also forwarded an image of a second, older man who they say was with the suspect at the time.

Both were seen running away into the neighborhood surrounding the bowling alley after the incident, which took place just after 11:00 p.m.
