Police Seek Suspect in Gas Station Robbery

Man walked into Chevron station on Laguna Blvd in pajamas last week, pretended he had gun.

Elk Grove police are looking for a man they say stole an undisclosed amount of money from the Chevron station on Laguna Blvd early last Wednesday morning, after telling the clerk there he had a gun under his jacket.

The portly suspect, wearing plaid pajama pants and an orange shirt, was caught on camera smilingly accepting a fistful of cash from the station clerk before fleeing on foot.

Police describe him as a mustached African-American man between the ages of 30 and 35, standing about 5'7" and weighing 240 pounds.
